How to use BONKbot

BONKbot is a popular Solana trading bot on Telegram. It’s designed to make buying and selling tokens fast, right from chat.

Scam Warning

Only use BONKbot from official links. Never trust random Telegram DMs. Never enter your Secret Recovery Phrase anywhere.

What you’ll need

  • A small amount of SOL for gas + trading.
  • A beginner mindset: start tiny and do test buys/sells.

Step 1: Start BONKbot

  1. Open the official BONKbot on Telegram.
  2. Run /start.
  3. Create a wallet (BONKbot will generate one for you).
Hot wallet ruleAssume bot wallets are hot wallets. Only keep what you’re actively trading with.

Step 2: Deposit SOL

  1. Copy your BONKbot deposit address.
  2. Send a small test deposit of SOL first.
  3. Wait for the bot to confirm your updated balance.

Step 3: Buy a token

  1. Paste the token’s Solana mint address into the bot (recommended).
  2. Select Buy.
  3. Choose the amount to spend.
  4. Confirm the transaction.
Beginner Tip

Do a tiny buy first, then do a tiny sell to confirm the token is tradable and you understand the flow.

Step 4: Sell

  1. Open your position in the bot.
  2. Choose Sell (partial or full).
  3. Confirm and wait for the bot to report completion.

Optional: BONKBot / quick-trade settings

If your BONKbot version includes quick‑trade presets, set these conservatively:

  • Start with lower slippage and increase only if swaps fail.
  • Use small size presets until you’re confident.
  • Enable confirmations if you’re prone to fat‑finger mistakes.

Withdraw back to your wallet

When you’re done trading, withdraw back to a wallet you control more directly.
